A Proud History
St. Teresa's School opened its doors in 1945 at Residence Avenue with 33 students in Kindergarten through grade 6. A few years later, grades 7 and 8 were added. With continued growth, a new school was built in 1952 at the present site on Edgewood Lane and was soon followed by expansions in 1957 and 1965. Today St. Teresa's School serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8. Students enjoy modern, air-conditioned classrooms, a state-of-the-art computer lab, media center, cafeteria, and gymnasium.
Building Values
A Catholic education is foremost about building a lifelong relationship with God. Prayer is an important part of St. Teresa's school day, and every child participates in religion classes which lay the foundation for developing maturity in faith and for building the values and principles of Christian living.
A Quality Difference
Fully accredited, all teachers are certified by the State of Georgia in their specific areas. As Christian educators, faculty and staff at St. Teresa's School believe in a classroom atmosphere that fosters the spirit of freedom, justice and charity.
