| Second Grade Program |
|
 Second grade makes learning fun! We study dinosaurs by making dinosaur footprints and fossils. Students understand extinct, endangered species, and pollute in interesting and engaging ways. Our reading program is filled with wonderful literature that captivates student attention. Unit studies include stories on bravery, kindness, responsibility and our country. Our new math series offers planned instruction using various teaching modalities so that students may have the opportunity to fully understand math concepts.
Second grade is an exciting time for Catholic students as they prepare for their sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion. The sharing of faith includes instruction in doctrine, Scripture, morality, and the experience of prayer and liturgy. Students understand and practice more fully a heartfelt relationship with Jesus.
