Our History

St. Teresa's School was founded by the Sisters of the Adorers of the Blood of Jesus.  It opened in 1945 on Residence Avenue, adjacent to the original church with 33 students in grades Kindergarten through grade 6.  A few years later, grades 7 and 8 were added. With continued growth, the school moved from its original location on Residence Avenue to its present location on Edgewood Lane in 1952.  Further expansions in 1957 and 1965 were done to accommodate increased enrollment.

The PK-4 program was added at a later date.

The PK-3 program was added in 2006/07 school year.
