Welcome back everyone! We hope you are all looking forward to a new and exciting year this year! We have a full year of fun events planned, and have already had some take place.
We started the year off with a big welcome to our new families at New Student Testing, where our new families were greeted with some great breakfast food and beverages and a chance to learn about our school. Some PTO board members were there to answer questions and give a little background on what our PTO is all about!
We then had our beginning of the year orientation, where our school families were each given the new parent organization binder and invited over to the PAC for lunch and a lot of fun at our Meet and Greet Celebration! It was awesome and we had such a great turnout! Thank you to all who helped organize this event!
Grandparents Day for this year has come and gone already, and what a special day it was. There is still buzz around the school at what a great time everyone had and how absolutely wonderful the day went. The involvement from everyone that day, whether it was the parents, grandparents, students, teachers or volunteers, was just overwhelming. We can't thank everyone enough for all they did, from making signs and banners, helping set up, donating food and other items, planting flowers in front of the school and helping things run smoothly that day!
Our biggest fundraiser, the QSP magazine sale has now come to an end also. Thank you to all the parents and students for all your hard work and participation this year. We sold around $18,000.00 and our school will receive 40% of that. Thank you to all our board members and parent volunteers for all your help in making this such a successful fundraiser!
We are now coming up on our annual Fall Festival in October and Holly Berry Market in November, so be sure to look for information on these events!
