St. Terersa’s Athletics
PURPOSE
Sports are an extracurricular activity that when properly used, act as a teaching tool, enhances enrollment, and accent the education of a child. St. Teresa’s Athletic Board was chartered in 1991. It was created to develop sports programs to complement the education of our children. It is the responsibility of this Board to plan, organize, maintain, and finance sports programs for the students of STS.
MEMBERSHIP
The Board is comprised of an Athletic Director, Treasurer, Secretary and appointed representatives (parents) whose children attend St. Teresa’s School. New appointments are conducted each spring. Anyone interested in serving on the Board or assisting with the sports program at STS may contact the Athletic Director, Kristen Anglin or the P. E. Teacher, Jackie Martin.
CURRENT PROGRAMS
St. Teresa’s Athletics currently consists of the following sports: Fall and Spring Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Cheerleading. Our programs are both intra and inter school competition. Any student who presently is enrolled at STS or belongs to our Parish is eligible to participate.

Kids for Jesus
K4J News
Attention Kids and Parents ... thanks for ordering the mission packs for your child. They are very helpful in living out the mission of the month. Also, when you come to pick up your child, please know that I am trying to end our meeting on time. This is hard to do but it is a top priority so, we will end precisely at 4:00 pm. It is important that your child stay for the whole meeting. If you come early to pick up your child they will be at a station in the school and you may not be able to find them easily. Each K4J member in PreK3 to 1st grade is assigned a captain that stays with them every minute. If you as a parent would like to stay and help with our activities, you are most welcome.
In other news ... K4J will be having a float in the Albany Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 2nd from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm downtown. Our theme is "Jesus You Are My Hero." All K4J members and captains who would like to be ont he float must dress as a superhero including but not limited to famous Saints. We will be decorating the float and tailgating (including food) all day Saturday. To participate I must have a signed permission slip and liability waiver for each child.
And that's not all ... on December 10th we will be having a "Bless the Baby Jesus" party at noon in the Parish Activity Center.
If you have any questions or would like to help with any of the above, please let me know.
